Proud of our Breton origins, it is quite natural that we have revisited a basic item of the sailor wardrobe this season: the striped sailor sweater. To give it the "Mont Saint Michel" touch, we started with our archive stitches to knit this magnificent navy stripe. To modernise it, we opted for a slightly scooped collar and a wide ribbed hemline. The perfect sweater to stroll around the port of Saint-Malo without looking like a tourist!
Semiona is knitted in a soft blend of 30% kid mohair, 32% polyamide and 38% acrylic. Did you know that? Kid mohair is the wool from the very first shearing of angora goats, where the wool fibre is at its finest. Its super power? It is an extremely soft wool with a strong thermal power, it acts as a strong insulator. It will protect you from the cold in winter and keep you cool when it is too hot. The special feature of this fibre is that it is very light, which is why it is so comfortable to wear.
